How I Improved My POSITIVE SIDE EFFECTS OF HYPNOSIS

How To Turn POSITIVE SIDE EFFECTS OF HYPNOSIS

There are many prescription and non-prescription medications to treat chronic pain, all of which have potential side effects, and in some cases pain levels can take weeks to subside.

When hypnosis works without the harmful effects of some drugs, why risk drugs that can cause other illnesses or even death?

The list of pain medications on the market is long, but not as long as the combined side effects listed on every bottle, magazine and television ad. One concern is the potential risk of addiction to prescription drugs. Research shows that many popular painkillers can increase the risk of heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular problems. These concerns prompted Merck to remove its blockbuster drug Vioxx from the market. Studies have linked Celebrex and naproxen (Aleve) to heart risk.

There are many prescription and non-prescription medications to treat chronic pain, all of which have potential side effects, and in some cases pain levels can take weeks to subside. Some of the side effects are: allergic reactions, diabetes, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, confusion, constipation, increased blood sugar, liver damage, bleeding peptic ulcers, upset stomach, diarrhoea and kidney problems. Chronic pain often leads to depression and sleep problems, and this downward spiral can turn a person's life into a nightmare.

With such serious risks we should be more careful before taking these pills regularly. When hypnosis works without the harmful effects of some drugs, why risk drugs that can cause other illnesses or even death? As a hypnotherapist, I know that hypnosis can relieve chronic pain symptoms from arthritis, fibromyalgia, IBS, headaches, childbirth and more.

Because thoughts and feelings can and do affect pain, hypnotherapy provides the cognitive behavioural therapy that is often needed to effect change. Move the perception of pain from the forefront of the mind to the background, and it is possible to change the level of pain.

At the University of North Carolina, hypnosis is transforming the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, a gastro-intestinal disorder, by helping patients use their minds to alleviate their symptoms. Physicians at the University of Washington Regional Burn Centre in Seattle routinely use hypnosis to help people reduce pain. Several hospitals affiliated with Harvard Medical School are using hypnosis to speed recovery time after surgery, and in 2000, studies showed that patients who were hypnotized before surgery required less pain medication, with fewer complications. and discharged from the hospital sooner than previously diagnosed. -Surgical hypnosis of patients.

Doctors routinely prescribe nicotine patches, gum, lozenges, and pills to help smokers quit. I personally see three or four smokers every week, and none of them quit the essential drug. In fact, some of them had tried all of the above and were still smoking at the time of their appointment.

While these are good reasons, what are the side effects of this new drug?

Hypnosis has always been controversial, as were the practices of chiropractic and acupuncture in the not too distant past. It is time to leave all fears and myths behind and move forward into the 21st century. Hypnosis is not magic, but a naturally occurring state that we can learn to use to our advantage. Forty-seven years have passed since hypnosis was first approved by the American Medical Association in 1958.

For many years, I have been teaching my clients to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or Tapping). This wonderful yet simple technique is effective for alleviating pain and/or anxiety, controlling cigarette cravings, reducing obsessive thoughts, reducing fear, reducing sadness and sleep deprivation. The process is based on acupuncture and combines hypnosis with the physical "tapping" of meridian points in the body's energy field. It allows people to easily help themselves and is completely normal.

Hypnotherapy does not take the place of qualified medical care and you should always consult your doctor before reducing or changing your medications. But hypnotherapy can be an excellent adjunct in helping them ease their medication. The benefits and effects of hypnosis are many. It is relaxing, informative and therapeutic. My clients regularly report the added benefits of sleeping better and having a better mood, regardless of why they come. I always make sure to tell my new customers that there is no reason to fear or panic. It's like a mental massage that soothes your soul, heals your body and is great for transformation.
